It is not advisable to go to a walk-in clinic unless absolutely necessary.  If it is unavoidable, ensure that you see the same Dr. every time you go to the walk-in clinic. Your Dr. will make the referral for treatment.  This may include physiotherapy, massage therapy, active rehab, acupuncture, and chiropractic and then there are more targeted therapies.  For example you may be referred to specialists, including those specializing in, cognitive behavioral therapy, trigger point injections, vestibular therapy and concussion clinics.  It is important to follow your doctor’s treatment advice because you have a duty under law to mitigate your damages.  In layman’s terms, when it comes to treatment, you have to do your best to try to get better.
